True Grid Awards.
When’s the last time someone on your crew saved your ass? Did you ever get a chance to properly thank them? Well, now’s your chance.
We’re officially launching the True Grid Awards. Through peer-nominated video submissions and our selection by our esteemed panel of judges, we’ll be honoring those who keep crews safe and the lights on, no matter what.
Nominations on close on July 31, 2026.
The True Grid Awards recipient will receive a scholarship to attend a Western Energy Institute certificate course on Active Grid Response (AGR), plus our Golden Hard Hat trophy and bragging rights for the year. But it gets even better – the individual who submitted the winning nomination also gets to attend the training, with a total value of $3,000 (including travel and expenses).
